WELCOME TO ALBANY STRING ORCHESTRA

Now in our 14th year! Since 2013, Albany String Orchestra has been a part of the Oregon Mid-Willamette Valley's rich cultural scene, giving area musicians a place to make music and hone their playing skills, and area music lovers an opportunity to hear the special string orchestra repertoire. Always free as our gift to the community, our concerts are open to all. The orchestra is always open to musicians who are looking for a supportive, positive learning environment. Interested musicians are welcome to join in September and January when we start work on our winter and spring concerts.

Thinking about playing with the orchestra? Now is the time to join!! We accept violins, violas, cellos and basses. You need to be able to read music and have a couple of years of study or playing experience. Previous ensemble experience is not necessary. Click the Join link for more information.
